Exclusion Criteria

We compile an extensive list of programs but exclude those that:

  • Lack enrollment records in the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
  • Have been discontinued or are set to close during our review period.
  • Do not meet recognized accreditation standards.

  • Curriculum and Specializations – Programs offering diverse concentrations within sports psychology are given more weight.

  • Class Size and Faculty Availability – Lower student-to-faculty ratios are prioritized to ensure quality instruction and engagement.
